Miguel A. Ortiz

Miguel Ortiz is an experienced litigator at CCA whose practice focuses on consumer warranty litigation and consumer fraud. Mr. Ortiz has over seventeen years of experience as a litigator in both state and federal court.  Over the years his practice has included commercial, insurance, bankruptcy, and personal injury litigation.

Mr. Ortiz graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Political Science. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Ortiz served in the California Air National Guard. He was called up to active duty as part of operation Noble Eagle and earned the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.

A graduate of Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, Mr. Ortiz focused on public interest law. Mr. Ortiz worked at Bet Tzedek, a local legal services non-profit. While at Loyola, Mr. Ortiz earned a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Wiley M. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services.
